The Senior Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing strategic & tactical marketing plans focused on end-users for the Secure Issuance (SI) business area in NAM, aligning with the local sales team as well as corporate marketing teams on priorities, plans, and developing thought leadership & demand creation programs. This role will also be responsible for driving innovation & introducing best practices for the business unit globally.
A demonstrated ability to leverage the power of digital marketing and sales enablement is essential. Specific responsibilities include defining buyer persona targets for the NAM region, determining the best tactical mix (inbound & outbound) to drive leads, designing calls to action, executing integrated marketing activities, allocating budget, setting program goals and measurement criteria, working closely with Sales and Product teams to develop marketing tools to better promote and sell Secure Issuance products.
The qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful history in a B2B marketing role with responsibilities including know-how required to execute marketing campaigns focused on lead generation and sales enablement aligning with the overall business (priorities, objectives, revenue target) for new customer acquisition as well as retention; campaign analytics; lead qualification/nurturing. A focus on best-in-class ROI delivery is critical. Travel to a variety of internal meetings, client sites, events, and tradeshows is also required.
This position will report to the Director of Marketing Communications, SI and will work in partnership with multiple disciplines across a highly matrixed organization and will partner with multiple functions to drive business results. This is an exciting, fast-paced position with the opportunity to work on the full breadth of marketing activities at one time.
As our Senior Marketing Manager, North America, you'll support HID's success by:
- Being a strategic partner to our regional teams on the strategy, development, and execution of marketing initiatives, with the primary focus of generating and accelerating pipeline.
- Building and execute rolling annual and quarterly country/region marketing plans and campaigns within the Corporate Framework (reputation, demand creation, and sales enablement), aligning with corporate segment marketing plans, sales goals, digital transformation initiatives and annual budgets.
- Interlocking with NAM Sales organization to ensure agreement on priorities, adjusting as required by changing market conditions and emerging opportunities.
- Understanding the partners' business objectives, go-to-market approach, and channel and use this insight to build and execute a joint partnership strategy.
- Developing and execute measurable country/region demand creation programs that drive leads and revenue.
- Collaborating with global/regional and central resources in the development of campaigns, PR, social media, HID product literature, event displays, product positioning, value proposition messaging and web marketing programs worldwide to execute in the NAM region.
- Working with Web resources to ensure that inbound traffic can be converted into known leads through a best-in-class Web experience.
- Identifying enablement gaps through ongoing analysis and business review sessions with key stakeholders; accountable for upholding and improving the readiness & marketing enablement process.
- Localizing and customizing contents for new product introduction deliverables based on developed positioning and messaging.

- History of budget management.
Your Experience and Education include:
- University degree in marketing, communications, or related area (or equivalent experience).
- Ideal candidate will possess 10 years' experience in B2B Marketing Communications / Field / End User Marketing.
- Experience working in the identity management & secure identity industry would be a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, CRM & Web content management.
- Experience with marketing analytics, social media platforms & other Web 2.0 tool.
- Customer focus with keen knowledge, skills, abilities, and traits necessary in this role to satisfy our customer's expectations.
- Know-how in marketing planning and leading strategic engagement across the channel ecosystem.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with using various marketing channels (content writing, social media, emails, events, etc.) to communicate a company's features & benefits.
- Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and calm in a fast-paced ever-changing business environment.
