Who You Are: Someone who is seeking to use their Marketing and content creation skills in a way that positively impacts environmental change. The Senior Marketing Content Manager is responsible for the timely development and delivery of consistent, high-quality content aligned to short- and long-term marketing goals. Responsible for overseeing all the moving pieces from ideation and production, to distribution and analysis. Content includes blogs and premium content – e-books, guides, case studies, webinars/training sessions among other assets, as well as bi-weekly newsletter. Senior Marketing Content Manager will also coordinate with Marketing Design team for video development.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of a content strategy based on a deep understanding of cove.tool’s target audiences, activation plan, and marketing goals. 
  • Build and oversee the editorial content calendar, including managing content lifecycle and repurposing, or adapting existing content, for multiple audiences, platforms, and channels. 
  • Develop new and creative ways to generate awareness that promotes the cove.tool brand and solutions. 
  • Maintain freelance writing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new staff members 
  • Identify appropriate internal or external writing resources to deliver on weekly/month piece goals, make the assignments, track the progress of the assignments, and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Effectively manage the content workflow and deliver content assets according to plan. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar. 
  • Ensure content is held to the highest standard of quality, is aligned to overall business strategy and guidance, is on message and brand while leveraging to its full potential 
  • Collaborate with Director of Demand Generation on SEO strategy and implications on content development. 
  • Collaborate with Research team to define webinar / training session calendar to align with product roadmap and marketing goals. 
  • Coordinate content design and social distribution with Marketing Design team. 
  • Manage content library/repository to serve as sales enablement tool and provide perspective on what messages are currently in market and what messages have been used historically. 
  • Provide routine content audits, ensuring company information is current and accurate across print and digital assets. 
  • Create content performance dashboards to track and analyze performance, to improve and optimize channel promotion efforts, and convey results to leadership teams. 
  • Coordinate with colleagues to determine content effectiveness, including content influences on prospect and customer actions, to inform how we can improve our planning and execution. 

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related discipline required. 
  • 5+ years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience required. 
  • Experience with project management including projects with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment required. 
  • Experience with developing, organizing, and maintain process documentation required. 
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and produce significant output while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to earn trust of team members through the persistent delivery of high-quality work and track record of living up to verbal and written commitments. 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, both verbal and written 
  • Superior copywriting and editing skills. 
  • Ability to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team; updating and delegating tasks to team members as needed. 
  • Maturity to strike a balance between being proactive, showing initiative, and seeking appropriate guidance/input from others. 
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Google Search Console and SEM Rush 
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS and/or AEC industry is a plus
