Senior Marketing Content Specialist

Job Description

The Senior Content Marketing Specialist will create long and short-form content that shares the SmartRent story, promotes our brand, and makes a positive impact across many different digital platforms. 

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish content for websites, blogs, video, email campaigns, case studies, e-books and more 
• Create thought leadership content that educates the market that SmartRent is the number one leader in the industry.
• Work cross-functionally with design, digital marketing, product, sales and other content team members to produce content that aligns with company goals
• Deliver content that drives leads through the sales funnel 
• Measure content performance and provide frequent data and reporting to stakeholders 
• Generate SEO-optimized content that helps us drive site traffic via search engines

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of content writing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and razor sharp editorial and grammatical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and have a desire to collaborate with others
• Must be willing to provide writing samples of previous work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing content for webinars and/or podcasts
• Experience using Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot or similar marketing automation platform
• Experience uploading content into CMS platform (Sanity, Wordpress, Drupal or similar)
• Previous experience in the multifamily or real estate industry

Note: This is a hybrid position with 4 days in-office at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters
