About the Role:
The Opportunity: We're looking for a Senior Designer for our Wealth Management Solutions marketing team. In this role, you will lead marketing design activities and produce design artifacts to support our go-to-market solutions and strategies for our wealth management platform.
Our Design Culture: The Morningstar design team is dedicated to creating thoughtfully designed financial products and services so that people across the world can make the best investing decisions for themselves and their clients. We synthesize complex financial information into experiences that empower our users to deliver better outcomes. The design organization is made up of several disciplines-visual, UX, communications, content, and research-united to help each other, and the whole company, grow. We're always seeking designers who are motivated, are driven to deliver user-centered outcomes, and are equally committed to craft and compassion.
Day to day could see you being involved in the following:

• Designing a wide variety of digital and print content including one-pagers, landing pages, case studies, videos and animations,, social media, blog posts, email marketing, RFPs, and sales collateral
• Owning all parts of the design process from discovery, definition, development, and delivery
• Demonstrating core design skills-especially concerning typography, composition, information hierarchy, and data visualization-to create delightful, engaging experiences that reinforce the Morningstar brand
• Solving challenging information and communication design problems and being able to present multiple concepts for consideration, with sound rationale

We're looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates significant experience designing marketing materials for print, digital, social, and motion expressions software, web, and/or digital products
• Executes design solutions through multiple channels such as print, social, email, webinar, presentations, websites, and multimedia
• Creates in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Microsoft Office Suite, and Mac OS
• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Communication Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering/Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and proactively
• Ability to provide art direction and feedback to other designers, and to receive and incorporate feedback
• Collaborative, curious, and self-motivated
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Communication Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering/Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienc e

Nice to have:

• Understanding of web analytics, SEO, and content management
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS basics
• Experience with project management software, like Asana and Jira
