Senior Marketing Director (REMOTE)
Job Description
Education:
Bachelor's Degree is required preferably in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism or Communications or equivalent.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience and expertise in marketing and communications, with at least three years in the health plan, PBM, or health care industry. Ability to demonstrate a strong track record of leading teams to deliver tangible results working in a professional services environment. Large project management experience is mandatory.

Job Summary:
The Sr. Director, Marketing Communications leads all aspects of marketing, demand generation, brand, and communications strategy.
Reporting to the SVP Chief Growth Officer, the incumbent in this role is responsible for establishing a brand and marketing strategy that drives the lead generation, business development, robust social media following, effective public relations, and strong brand recognition needed for Navitus and Lumicera to achieve their growth strategies. The Sr. Director is also responsible for partnering with Division leaders and Product Owners to align the product and service roadmap with the go-to-market strategy.
The role also requires effective working relationships with individuals throughout the organization to ensure that internal and external communications are prepared, reviewed, produced, and distributed effectively and efficiently. Finally, the Sr. Director is responsible for leading the department in terms of staffing structure, recruiting, engaging, developing, and retaining talent needed to deliver on established goals and priorities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages strategic marketing plans, initiatives, and branding to create market awareness and to generate leads for business development.
- Drives social media content and other digital presence in support of the marketing strategy and positive public relations.
- Builds and leverages relationships within the industry to create opportunities for external recognition of Navitus and Lumicera as innovative disruptors in the PBM and Specialty Pharmacy industries.
- Partners with internal customers to develop communication materials to meet the needs of clients and product owners with respect to clinical programs and related initiatives. Manages and oversees the development, review, production, and distribution of communications effectively and efficiently.
- Identifies and prioritizes growth opportunities to allow senior leadership to effectively make decisions for organizational growth.
- Periodically assesses all marketing and communications efforts in terms of their return on investment to the organization. Adjusts strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external vendors who can help Navitus and Lumicera with competitive intelligence to support competitive pricing and quality deliverables, in areas such as marketing, PR, fulfillment and proposals.
- Oversees coordination with external mail houses/fulfillment houses and internal resources to complete mass mailings/mass faxes/ mass emails according to company policies and determines vendor selection and management.
- Oversees and co-coordinates Corporate Trade Shows and Events.
- Participates in meetings and committees providing effective communication and strategic planning of Navitus' vision, mission, values, goals, policies and branding.
- Other related corporate duties and initiatives as assigned/required
