ATI Nursing Education's growing marketing team is searching for a product marketing manager with an entrepreneurial mindset and ownership attitude. ATI maintains a large solution inventory and embraces new product innovation as a core business strategy, and we depend on product marketers to successfully position our tutorials, simulations, assessments, and services as the preferred solution in the marketplace. And a successful sale is just the start - product marketers are responsible for continually demonstrating the impact our solutions have on the success of our clients preparing the next generation of nurses and nursing leaders.

ATI is hiring for a Senior Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the creation and management of traditional marketing communications and strategy. This incumbent develops and executes channel marketing campaigns for the employer and education channels and markets new product launches. This role will work to advance ATI's reputation as a thought leader in nursing education and an invaluable resource for nurse educators across North America. As a member of the ATI marketing team, the right candidate will drive ATI's content strategy, from identifying the right issues/topics, working with internal subject matter experts to create the content, and then ensuring it reaches the target audience through thoughtful distribution strategies. This position will work from Leawood, KS office/hybrid location preferred. Remote will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Create acquisition and retention campaign strategies, market analysis, planning, workflow, and timelines and return on investment management.
- Write strategy and creative briefs to articulate plans for education, employer, CTE and base customer campaigns.
- Build relationship with outside public relation consultants and identify opportunities for news, story pitches, placement, and announcements to external audiences.
- Work with the Marketing team members to deliver clear communication strategies for campaign rollout and channel specific business to business and business to customer campaigns to grow the business.
- Ensures proactive content governance, maintenance, and workflow processes to ensure consistency, timeliness, accuracy of message; provides editorial content and strategic recommendations for projects; functions as an editor for all thought leadership content.
- Manage campaigns from start to finish by providing direction to Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer where projects cross over.
- Support the development and execution of brand strategies across each channel and through all communications.
- Occasional travel is required.
SupervisoryResponsibilities
- This role will supervise and assist in managing our outside creative agency as well as freelance and consultant services, as needed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline
- Five to seven years of marketing experience in industries with a mix of business to business and business to consumer sales environments
Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and product management organizations
- Experience managing project specific or initiative timelines and resources
- Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market and organizational dynamics
- Understanding of marketing automation
- Ability to prepare status reports on all projects for reporting and communications
This position requires that the employee be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless an exemption has been granted by Ascend Learning for a religious, health-related or other legally mandated reason, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law. Ascend Learning's current policy also requires that individuals visiting our offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
