Job Description

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the execution of all marketing strategies, plans and initiatives for tastyworks, the online retail brokerage arm of tastytrade Inc. In this role, you will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies to increase brand awareness, improve conversion rates across end-to-end customer journeys and meet ROAS goals across all acquisition channels.  

This candidate will be expected to have demonstrated expertise in digital and offline channels and be comfortable using performance metrics to build & optimize marketing strategies and campaigns. Experience managing a multi-million-dollar budget is highly desired in this role and must thrive on challenges and are constantly looking for opportunities to learn. Having effective time management skills and the ability to communicate clearly to cross-functional teams, agencies and stakeholders will be key as our company looks to achieve ambitious growth goals.  

Leading marketing for tastyworks offers this candidate an opportunity to make a stake in the growth of a founder led online retail brokerage. This high visibility role will work closely with the executive management team at tastyworks and will report to the Vice President of Marketing Strategy. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, holistic marketing strategies and plans focused on brand awareness, acquisition & customer retention
  • Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budget across all out of home and digital channels 
  • Lead media & creative agency relationships and brief in marketing campaigns 
  • Develop, execute, and optimize full-funnel, integrated campaigns by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Ops, Growth, Brand, CX, etc.)
  • Partner with marketing intelligence to communicate performance results regularly to senior stakeholders 
  • Gather relevant market data (consumer, competitive, advertising trends) to help formulate marketing strategy 
  • Partner with legal, compliance, brand, and commercial teams to develop marketing promotions and ensure all marketing is compliant and on-brand  

Who you are:

  • Conversant in all social, content, influencer, SEO, PPC, affiliate, display, and offline marketing channels & strategies 
  • Creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial in nature  
  • Detail oriented and strong project management skills, ability to juggle projects with many cross-functional teams 
  • Expertise using data to drive marketing decisions, proficient in GA 
  • A strong communicator and a natural leader 
  • Experience or interest in learning about the world of online trading
  • Passionate about building brands with a hyper focus on end-to-end customer journeys
