We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take the lead to expand Workato’s marketing programs across field, partner, digital and customer marketing in the Japan region. Reporting to the APJ Marketing Director, this person will be responsible for the strategy and execution of high-impact marketing programs to generate pipeline, awareness and deal acceleration.
This person will also be responsible of the following:Â
Own and build the overall marketing strategy (Field, Partner, Digital etc) and execution for the Japan market to generate pipeline, awareness and deal acceleration for both new and existing customers
Curate unique marketing campaigns and activities for different target audiences.
Research and identify industry-leading third-party programs to drive new logos, thought leadership and brand awareness. While developing new and innovative ways to reach our target audience through solution-focused content and programs.
Own annual budget and reporting and metrics. Analyze program results and identify areas of optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Customer Success) to ensure messaging and marketing deliverables are executed according to strategy.
You will also play a critical role in the success of flagship conferences like Automate. Working closely with sales leaders to invite their accounts to the events and providing them the support they need.
A minimum of 9+ years B2B software/technology partner or field marketing experience.
Preferably experience in marketing to IT
Ability to travel occasionally, when travel permits.
Preferably someone who has experience managing a team
Direct experience adapting marketing messages and growth campaigns for specified personas/territories, project managing integrated campaigns, and providing follow-up support to sales
Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce and other MarTech is preferred
Speaking Japanese natively and English at a business level.
Exceptional level of attention to detail.Â
Ability to handle high-stress situations with a “make it happen” attitude.
Team-oriented, high energy, excellent interpersonal skill and strong cross collaborator
Willingness to actively listen to others and absorb constructive feedback to ensure productive results
