We are looking for an experienced marketer with a passion for helping developers and small businesses succeed with cloud technology. You are well-versed in marketing technology, with an emphasis on marketing automation, systems, and Sales support processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Growth Operations, you will level up our efforts to support the DigitalOcean Sales organization. You will work with a variety of teams, including Sales, Lifecycle Marketing, Sales Operations, and Marketing Analytics, to ensure that our Marketo and Salesforce integration runs smoothly and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to improve, reimagine, and scale our systems to enable our teams to meet their revenue goals.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Growth Operations, you will level up our efforts to support the DigitalOcean Sales organization. You will work with a variety of teams, including Sales, Lifecycle Marketing, Sales Operations, and Marketing Analytics, to ensure that our Marketo and Salesforce integration runs smoothly and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to improve, reimagine, and scale our systems to enable our teams to meet their revenue goals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Refine and develop processes and systems to help enable the Sales team: Own lead routing, improve automation workflows for lead handoff between Marketing and Sales, surface the right leads at the right time using first-party data, with outside vendors, and our in-house data science team
- Act as the liaison between Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations: Interface with internal teams to make iterative improvements to the lead handoff, Marketo SFDC sync, routing rules, lead tracking and reporting, etc.
- Vendor relationship management: Manage the enrichment and scoring vendors we use to support the Sales team and identify new vendor needs and opportunities
- Drive Lead conversion improvements: Partner with the Sales team to identify areas for improvement and tackle jobs to be done. Evolve our lead structure to better support attribution and campaign performance reporting
What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:
- Strong background in building and maintaining Marketing to Sales lead handoff: Operational expertise in managing systems and processes to surface the right lead at the right time with a successful handoff to Sales
- Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM tools : Marketo and Salesforce experience a plus, Marketing Operations experience a requirement
- Project management: Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and plan against cross-dependencies to drive projects forward; experience with JIRA a plus
- Collaborative expertise: A proven track record of working cross-functionally to execute improvements in marketing systems is a must
- Digital marketing knowledge: Understanding of channels outside of email, such as paid advertising, content/SEO, or channel marketing
- Strategic thinking: Ability to go above and beyond by leveling up the quality of the marketing systems that support our team's wor
- Domain experience : Experience marketing cloud solutions to developers and businesses; familiarity with cloud infrastructure a plus

- We reward our employees . The base salary range for this position is between $100,000-$125,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
