The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will report to our Head of Growth Marketing and will lead the marketing operations function in this B2B organization. The marketing operations function is responsible for marketing-related measurement, planning, infrastructure and data management. In addition, this role will support campaign execution and program management.


Responsibilities: 

  • Leverages marketing performance data and provides insight to leadership
  • In conjunction with the CMO, collaborates with marketing leaders to achieve alignment with the corporate strategy
  • Measure campaign performance and with business leaders to course-correct as campaign execution unfolds
  • Report and monitor success metrics for both outbound and inbound email marketing campaigns
  • Ensures impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting on marketing’s contribution to the business
  • Orchestrates the annual marketing planning process (e.g. milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar), ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with sales and product objectives
  • Coordinates the budget strategy and manages the budget allocation and reconciliation process
  • Ensures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaigns
  • Leads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance
  • Gathers and disseminates internal and external marketing best practices
  • Participates in the development of organizational alignment, competency assessments and skills development, as directed by the CMO
  • Delivers effective change management and communications for technology implementation, data policy and process re-engineering within marketing
  • Keep our internal teams up to date on current marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Make data-driven recommendations and drive cross-functional improvements and regularly improve campaign efficacy
  • Help with In-person and virtual events outreach, logistics (pre-, onsite, and post-event) and gifting platforms

What you'll bring to the flock: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in an operations role
  • Previous experience across the HubSpot ecosystem (marketing, sales, CMS, operations hub, etc.)
  • Previous experience with a marketing tech stack (BI tools ie. Looker, Sprout Social, Gaggleamp, and Gifting platforms ie. Alyce, Sendoso)
  • Experience serving, collaborating with and influencing executive management
  • Understanding of sales cycles and product life cycles and their respective pressures on the marketing organization to drive demand and revenue
  • Data-driven marketing strategy, planning, budget allocation and organizational alignment experience
  • Marketing measurement analysis and delivery, including global markets, if applicable, and using data from MAP, SFA, Web analytics and finance systems
  • Demand creation/field marketing experience, a plus
  • Experience with lead management process creation, delivery and monitoring, particularly in the area of service-level agreements, a plus
  • Program and product management experience, a plus
  • IT project management experience, including the rollout of related applications (e.g. MAP, MRM, SFA) to sales and marketing audiences, a plus

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and geography. Please note that the salary range that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only. The base salary range for this position is: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00, subject to final approval.  This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
