Job Overview

The Marketing Operations Analyst will own complex processes, working with large data sets to build and manage KPI reports and dashboards, analyze our funnel and campaign performance, optimize and ensure timely lead routing and attribution, and provide the Marketing team and leadership with timely reporting and actionable analysis.

This role will interact with the Marketing and Sales Operations teams and interface with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product Management, and Customer Success.

To be successful, the candidate should have a good mix of quantitative analysis, communication, data, and presentation skills. They should also be able to challenge the status quo and use their knowledge and experience to propose relevant changes to the existing models and processes. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a data-driven culture by ensuring processes are aligned to accurately extract, transform, collect, and analyze data, and make recommendations for new processes or alignments as needed
  • Aggregate, maintain and analyze data across multiple sources to answer business questions and to identify KPIs (including ROI analysis), trends, and insights to make recommendations for campaign and channel performance optimization
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to ensure team has access to accurate and reliable funnel metrics and generate compelling and actionable insights around marketing campaign effectiveness (i.e., analyze attribution, lead conversion, velocity)
  • Uncover areas for operational and integration improvements within Marketing and Sales to support overall funnel progression for the entire buyer lifecycle
  • Own lead scoring, lead management and lead routing for marketing, ensuring processes and rules of engagement are aligned with goals and priorities
  • Deliver regular quantitative analyses to help answer strategic and operational questions, and assist CMO and others with quarterly/monthly business reporting, strategic planning, forecasting, target setting, and KPI management
  • Interface with the regional sales teams, program managers, IT, management, finance, and other cross-functional departments to understand and support business goals & objectives
  • Manage the day-to-day system administration of Hubspot
  • Manage data integrity and cleanliness of marketing list databases and HubSpot workflows, and propose options for improving email health and metrics in HubSpot
  • Work closely with sales operations to provide notifications for effective and efficient sales outreach on inbound leads, optimize marketing campaigns within Salesforce
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the marketing automation roadmap, integrations and workflows and drive continuous improvement
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on our marketing systems and processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing operations
  • Minimum of 5 years experience using BI and data visualization tools
  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
