We have an opening for a Senior Marketing Specialist on our growing regional team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing and/or communications-a team player who can lead a pursuit process, communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline driven environment.

Stantec offers a flexible work environment and is open for this role to be based out of any posted US location.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare thoughtful, high-impact, and engaging pursuit and promotional materials that highlight Stantec's depth of experience, expertise, and creativity
• Plan, organize, and direct all elements of positioning activities and the final RFP response; including information analyses, digital marketing, thought leadership, win strategy, Go Assessments and kick-off meetings, benefit statements and proofs, and progress reviews
• Leverage local and global network within Stantec to support marketing processes, capitalize on company-wide expertise, and create value propositions
• Organize, motivate, and lead pursuit teams to develop strategic, compelling messaging that conveys Stantec's strengths to set us apart
• Partner with business leaders on client development and account management efforts utilizing client, competitor, and market research to develop documented client strategies
• Work with key business development leaders to coordinate strategic client-facing events, materials, and other communications in alignment with the Stantec brand
• Contribute to Stantec's internal and external communications networks and internal systems related to information management
• Support company strategic initiatives for the region in collaboration with marketing and PR leadership

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Proven experience developing responses to detailed requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, InDesign), and web-based interface
• Must thrive working in a deadline-driven environment
• Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in cooperation with a larger regional team

Education and Experience

• Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or an equivalent level of experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing-related field
• Experience with the RFQ/RFP process
• Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Consulting industry is preferred
