Senior Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing Specialist serves as a key contributor within the Marketing organization, ensuring multi-touch, complex email campaigns are executed successfully according to the campaign strategy and plan for both non-customer and current customer efforts.
This individual supports the customization of content for specific campaigns and is responsible for monitoring and verifying accuracy of campaign content.
The Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Email Marketing Manager.
What You'll Do

• Executes email campaigns and communications within established timelines including national and local acquisition campaigns, product notifications, customer communications and special projects
• Customizes, tailors and edits email creative as needed verifying content for accuracy
• Influences the direction of the email marketing program, including email template design, dynamic email personalization, content strategy, mobile optimization, and coordination with other digital channels
• Utilizes dynamic content within the email programs
• Process and project management of high volume of email campaigns
• Multichannel execution out of Campaign platform including but not limited to email, direct mail and digital
• Provides input for email process improvement, email promotions, and A/B tests
• Monitors email performance and channel KPI's and looks for opportunity to optimize email programs
• Liaison with key external vendors and internal boundary partners
• Reviews initial counts from vendors and metrics to ensure accuracy in execution and ability to catch any errors quickly
• Proofreads all messaging and manage templates, graphics, and seed lists
• Executes final quality check for creative and list selection/approvals and ensures that list selection meets approved guidelines and is on time
• Stays up to date and informed on the latest email technologies and trends to influence the email strategy

Who You Are
Minimum

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field (Marketing). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field with no degree
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
• Project management skills
• Expertise in an email automation platform (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
• Experience with dynamic content
• Strong email execution experience with the ability to multi-task and manage many deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing applications including Marketing Cloud a plus
• Ability to manage time independently, multi-task, manage many deadlines across multiple programs and juggle competing priorities

Preferred

• BS/BA in Marketing or Business administration strongly desired
• Strong experience in email platforms
• Knowledge of HTML
• Experience in telecommunications industry
