Job Title: Sr. Marketing Strategist

Job Duties:

Franklin Electric seeks a Sr. Marketing Strategist in Fort Wayne, IN to evaluate marketing campaign performance at a senior level and calculate marketing effort's overall return on investment. Use marketing knowledge and analysis to make recommendations for planning. Analyze strategy and segment-specific customer experiences, including developing relevant campaigns and related marketing efforts. Handle project requests from various internal departments and ensure development of consistent and accurate messaging to meet promotional and customer needs. Develop and implement innovative and strategic measures for new product materials and marketing promotions. Support critical trade show activities, including pre-show preparation, booth staff selection and scheduling, attendee invitations, leads, and post-show reporting. Work with peer business teams to obtain customer buying tendencies, wants, and needs. Apply strategic market research. Gather input and maintain market research data for competitor products, trends, new product adoption, innovative technologies being considered, and new regulations. Adhere to company brand strategy and help ensure consistent messaging across customer experiences. Evaluate appropriate and regular use of Voice of Customer exercises. Develop and continuously refine customer profiles for each market segment and ensure marketing strategies appropriately target customers. May travel approximately 20% to various trade shows and customer events throughout the United States.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Relations, Marketing or related field plus two years of marketing analysis experience in each of the following in: 1.) Evaluating marketing campaign performance and overall return on investment; 2.) Using marketing knowledge and analysis to make recommendations for planning; 3.) Analyzing strategy and segment-specific customer experiences, including developing relevant campaigns and related marketing efforts; 4.) Handling project requests from various internal departments to ensure development of consistent and accurate messaging that meet promotional and customer needs; 5.) Developing and implementing innovative and strategic measures for new product materials and marketing promotions; 6.) Supporting trade show activities, including pre-show preparation, booth staff selection and scheduling, attendee invitations, leads, and post-show reporting; 7.) Working with peer business teams to obtain customer buying tendencies, wants, and needs; 8.) Applying strategic market research; 9.) Gathering input and maintaining market research data for competitor products, trends, new product adoption, innovative technologies being considered, and new regulations; and 10.) Evaluating appropriate and regular use of Voice of Customer exercises. May travel approximately 20% to various trade shows and customer events throughout the United States.
