The Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer has experience in MDM platforms, such as Ataccama, and design, develop, deploy, and configure Ataccama’s MDM and Reference Data Management (RDM) solutions to meet the business requirements for data quality improvements and enhancements.

The Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer works directly with business and IT leaders to execute on specific data quality initiatives. The MDM Engineer ensures timely and accurate execution projects and triage and resolve production issues.

The Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer works in collaboration with Data Services leadership to ensure all projects follow current standards and work to align priorities with department strategy and initiatives. The MDM Engineer should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of business and IT leadership to manage delivery commitment and expectation.

This position will have a Remote Working, but we need candidates who are from Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad locations only.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Design Master Data Management solution based on Ataccama’s ONE MDM, including but not limited to solution architecture, MDM data model, and integration patterns.
• Develop and implement Ataccama’s MDM and RDM solutions, perform testing and debugging according to protocols.
• Develop process to import and export data to and from MDM and RDM platforms.
• Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data standardization activities to ensure data quality and accuracy during the migration process.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics leadership in the definition and implementation of standards and methodologies.
• Provide insights to Data Analytics leadership to support accurate strategic decisions in relation to the MDM function.
• Provide technical guidance in MDM and RDM domains.

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

• At least 5 years of experience in MDM, RDM, or related data management field.
• At least 2 years of experience with Ataccama ONE platform.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and architecture best practices.
• Ability to write SQL queries to retrieve and transform data.
• Solid understanding of data quality concepts, data profiling, matching/merging, and data cleansing techniques.
• Strong data management concepts and implementation techniques.

What other the Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge?

Must Have: 

• Master Data Management design and development in Ataccama’s ONE Data Management Platform.
• Reference Data Management design and development in Ataccama’s platform.
• Solid understanding of SQL Database structures, Stored Procedures and T-SQL coding.
• Experience in integration with REST and SOAP APIs, past exposure to event-driven architecture design. 

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., Azure).
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
