Job Summary

RTX Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is dedicated to ensuring that we design, manufacture and deliver the highest quality, affordable systems to our Customers. We develop and execute the supply chain strategy through all program phases - from our suppliers (and their suppliers) to the Customer, while delivering maximum Efficiency, Effectiveness, Capability and Capacity to our business. As a Material Program Manager (MPM) you're a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. This role would be in support of Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) SSBU within Naval Power SBU.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and execute material program plans, subcontract management plans (as applicable)
• Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans
• Completing quarterly financial management reviews using Earned Value Management through the EAC (Estimate at Complete) process
• Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
• Support all gate review and activity, EAC review, program review and risk and opportunity management reviews
• Oversight of major subcontractor execution performance

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Experience with MRP Systems and or tools such as PRISM and KINAXIS
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to lead efforts, including budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution.
• MPM certification level 4
• Experience with proposals and other strategic capture activities
• Experience in a Matrix organizational structure.
• Experience with Project Management.
• High degree of financial acumen, understand the mechanics of strong supplier negotiations and how to influence an acceptance in execution of cost reduction opportunities.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
