Senior Media Buyer | TV & Sponsorships
Job Description
We are on the hunt for a Senior Media Buyer who thrives on bringing creative media ideas to life. We're looking for an analytical thinker with a passion to learn and support a team across traditional television and strategic partnerships. If you're a big idea thinker who revels in collaboration, let's talk.This position helps with the development, implementation and stewardship of media buys, ensuring they are executed accurately and efficiently. These channels include national and/or local media including linear television, OTT and CTV, radio, print, and out-of-home. In addition, this individual is responsible for ensuring strong delivery upon campaign objectives for all clients.
Responsibilities:- Helps with campaign development, stewardship, optimization, and reporting within various platforms (Strata)
- Builds relationships and maintains ongoing communications with media representatives.
- Negotiates the best possible rates, placements and added value across managed service and PMP placements, documenting accordingly to share out with the larger team.
- Integral activation lead in key client communication.
- Designs optimal buys in terms of cost efficiency, goal delivery and vendor agreements.
- Updates Supervisor on status of current accounts on an ongoing basis and elevates and issues in a timely manner.
- Helps with campaign tracking set-up and implementation before launch of a campaign, with support from Ad Operations.
- Provides support in creation of all reporting dashboards and helping develop reporting insights.
- Helps facilitate media reconciliation in collaboration with finance team members to process vendor invoicing.
- Responsible for tracking spend against approved budgets.
- Ensures strict adherence to client budgets while meeting client objectives.
- Stays current on all media trends and opportunities in the industry.
- Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
- 3+ years of Media Buying experienceÂ
- Strong organizational and mathematical skills
- Ability to multi-task and deliver work on-time for set deadlines
- Ability to establish good working relationships with media reps
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Account Management, Finance and Project Management
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment, with outside media reps as well as with current clients
- Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions
