Senior Messaging Engineer - REMOTE

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability, operational stability, and security of all messaging systems
- Provide 3rd level support for all messaging systems
- Analyze requirements, design, build and test solutions and enhancements
- Lead projects and/or assignments and deliver a successful implementation
- Identify improvement opportunity and drive the efforts
- Contribute to the migration of on-premises applications to cloud solutions
- Collaborate with other Technology teams to deliver world-class services and solutions
- Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support
- Provide after-hour support as needed
- Participate in weekend Disaster Recovery exercises as needed (typically quarterly)
- Collaborate with internal partners to build partnerships and take a team approach to solving problems
- Comply with technology service management governance, standards and polices
- Stay current on latest technology findings, trends, features, and functionality by researching market trends, reading new knowledge that has been created, attending trainings, and reviewing release notes
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years work experience in a Messaging Engineer role
- Strong experience in design, deployment, and support of Microsoft Exchange (2013-2019) and O365 (Exchange Online, Security and Compliance Center, Email Integration, Azure)
- Prior experience with DMARC/DKIM/SPF, Email Gateway/Protection Solutions, and Archiving Solutions
- Strong overall understanding of infrastructure technologies and ability to integrate within current Messaging environment
- Familiar with basic security principles (certificates, identity management, authorization, etc.)
- Prior experience managing a messaging system at an Enterprise level
- Basic experience with Powershell or Azure automation
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience and a high school diploma/GED

- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
