Job Description

Overview:  We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Microsoft T-SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who not only has a deep expertise in T-SQL development but also possesses strong leadership qualities, the ability to mentor junior developers, and a visionary mindset for driving innovation in our data strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Development of T-SQL Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain robust T-SQL scripts and stored procedures to support complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Optimize Database Performance: Continuously improve database performance by expertly tuning SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Mentor and Guide Junior Developers: Act as a mentor and technical leader for less experienced developers, fostering a collaborative learning environment and encouraging professional growth within the team.
• Innovate and Drive Database Strategy: Work closely with data architects and analysts to design and implement forward-thinking database solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
• Perform Data Analysis for Business Insight: Conduct thorough data analysis to uncover trends and insights, empowering the business to make informed decisions.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive data-related solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously expand your knowledge by staying current with the latest trends and advancements in database development and data analysis.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Microsoft T-SQL development, with a proven track record of success in leadership or mentoring roles.
• Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure Managed Instances and Azure SQL DB.
• ETL Mastery: Strong understanding of ETL processes and industry best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing stored procedures for peak performance.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire other developers, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across various teams.
• Certification: Microsoft SQL Server certification is a plus but not required.
