Job Description:
Responsibilities
  • Liaises between Discover, our custody bank, and all broker/dealers, ensuring proper settlement of all transactions.
  • Handles daily and monthly reporting requirements related to the Investment Portfolio, effectively communicating with Funding Desk, Capital Markets, Treasury Analytics, and Finance.
  • Manages Middle Office functions related to BCD issuance, Retail Note issuance, EWI reporting, FX rate distribution.
  • Works with senior members of Finance, integrates internal compliance programs.
  • As the Middle Office project manager, works with Treasury and Finance senior management, participates in the integration of new processes/procedures, including using advanced Excel skills and understanding of fixed income/derivatives, build functional Excel EUC assets.
  • Prepares daily Counterparty and ALCO/KRI limit monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 4+ years direct work experience with derivative/investment products and related systems or related
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years direct work experience with derivative/investment products and related systems or related

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in project management in derivative/investment products and related systems

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $63,500.00 to $107,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
