JOB TITLE: Senior Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android)

LOCATION: LATAM – Remote

COMMITMENT: Full-time (Contractor)

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned mobile app developer to lead the creation of cutting-edge applications from inception to deployment. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting APIs, designing robust database structures, and ensuring seamless integration with decentralized wireless networks. Operating within a startup environment, you will collaborate closely with a small team, prioritizing speed, quality, and innovation in launching our network.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of crafting and maintaining efficient data pipeline architectures across various business objectives.
• Design APIs and database schemas to harmonize disparate data sources into unified, machine-readable formats.
• Establish infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading, leveraging SQL and AWS big data technologies.
• Identify and implement internal process enhancements, such as automation and scalability improvements.
• Develop analytics tools to derive actionable insights from multiple data pipeline sources, enhancing customer acquisition strategies and operational efficiency.
• Curate large, intricate datasets tailored to the decentralized wireless/telecom sector.
• Engineer scalable architectures to facilitate predictive and prescriptive modeling.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional mobile app development experience.
• Proficiency in either iOS or Android development, with a strong preference for experience in both platforms.
• Advanced skills in Python, Rust, and/or Go, alongside expertise in Flask and/or FastAPI.
• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and raw SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub CI/CD, and AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Dedication to crafting well-tested, maintainable code.
• Comfort with server management and command-line operations.
• Deep understanding of internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, caching, and load balancing.
• Nice to have: Experience with FastAPI, Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
