Senior Mobile Build Engineer
Job Description
Alarm.com is seeking a Senior Mobile Build Engineer to join our growing Mobile Platform team. As a Mobile Build Engineer, you will lead the management and development of our Mobile CI/CD pipeline. You’ll work closely with our Mobile Feature Teams to support new features and improve current processes. You’ll also work with the DevOps team to maintain and improve the overall build infrastructure.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience with mobile build systems and tools such as Gradle, Xcode, Fastlane, or others
- This position will support both our iOS and Android Teams, but experience with Andriod OR iOS is required, but not both
- Experience with Mobile App signing and distribution
- Experience with Bash and/or Zsh
- Ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, especially Bamboo.
- Experience with Artifactory
- macOS Administration Knowledge
- Experience in configuring and integrating automated testing tools for mobile applications
- Passion for automation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Solid understanding of common architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM) and Mobile architecture components
- Experience building and sharing native C++ code between Android and iOS projects
- Familiarity with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#
- Aware of latest trends and updates on new upcoming technology advancements
