To keep that momentum going strong, we’re expanding our team of enthusiastic go-getters. We’re on the hunt for a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the building and deployment of mobile applications for our social and learning products.

You will:

• Develop and Launch apps for iOS and Android devices
• Mobile app that looks, feels, and operates consistently across all platforms, both native and web based.
• Integrate with backend systems quickly and easily
• Own and manage app performance and analytics

Requirements

You might be a great fit if:

• You have expertise in Reactive Native or React JS
• You're experinced developing and using Restful Services
• You have expertise in Node.js
• You have experience with JavaScript, Typescript
• You have experience with SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• You have working experience developing solutions using cloud services (AWS)
• You have a demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
• You have experience developing cross platform mobile applications
• You're accustomed to working in fast-paced, startup environment
• You have experience building responsive web applications
• You have a strong sense of semantic HTML markup and responsive CSS development
• You have experience both creating and implementing remote services
• You (ideally) have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent work experience is great too.
• You are an analytical thinker who is able to accurately estimate project timelines while maintaining a strong focus on quality of work. You are able to adapt to external factors as they arise and take the lead with a positive outlook towards getting things done.
• You're not afraid to ask questions and are open to constructive criticism. You're an enthusiastic self-starter who takes ownership of your work.
• You can travel to Chicago for company-sponsored quarterly team meetings.

Nice to haves:

• Frontend and backend web technologies for SAAS products
