As a Senior Mobile Development Engineer, you will support InVue's mission, which is to improve customer operations, security, and experience for the world's most valuable brands in retail and critical infrastructure; by developing great mobile applications.

We are seeking an exceptional React Native developer, passionate about crafting high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you will take charge of designing and constructing cutting-edge apps, while collaborating with the teams managing other aspects of the product infrastructure. As a versatile member of our agile team, you may also have the opportunity to contribute to React (web) and Node back-end development. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop cutting-edge apps in collaboration with agile development team.
• Partner with product owner to break down user stories and provide accurate estimates.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude contributing to company and team growth.
• Exhibit the ability to work independently on tasks or projects, as well as collaboratively. on larger system initiatives while acquiring new skills and seeking to innovate.
• Craft pixel-perfect, ultra-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Utilize native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Engage in daily scrum meetings to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks to optimize performance.
• Stay current with the React Native community and its frequent updates.
• Maintain high-quality code and write automated tests for optimal product performance.
• Contribute to React Web apps and Node back-end (microservices) development.
• Influence peers within to achieve software delivery targets and success metrics.

INVUE's TECHNOLOGY STACK:

• Infrastructure: GCP, Azure, and AWS
• Frontend development: React Native, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin
• Server-side development: Node.js, Express, Docker
• Database: PostgreSQL, Redis, NoSQL

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
• 6+ years of mobile applications development experience
• 3+ years of software development experience on a team with at least 5 developers
• Strong proficiency programming in React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
• Extensive working knowledge of Kotlin/Java and Swift.
• Highly skilled in writing well-documented, clean JavaScript code.
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Proficient in JavaScript and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• Knowledgeable in both functional and object-oriented programming.
• Expertise in handling third-party dependencies and resolving conflicts.
• Familiarity with native build tools, such as XCode and Android Studio.
• Good understanding of mobile APIs for both iOS and Android
• Familiar with REST APIs and the document request model
• Experience with automated testing suites, such as Jest or Mocha
• Knowledge of Node, NPM, and Express is a plus
• Comfortable with GIT workflows
• Familiarity with Microservices is a plus
• Strong experience collaborating with remote teams under Agile methodologies
• Fluent in English. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, adept at interacting with both technical and non-technical personnel in a results-oriented organization, with a focus on exceptional end-user experiences
