Senior Mobile Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Mobile Engineer should have expert knowledge of most mobile languages and frameworks including Kotlin, Swift, C++, and / or Objective C. They should have a portfolio of downloadable mobile applications for review.

The Senior Mobile Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with other engineers on their team to create a polished, performant mobile application according to the product roadmap. They should have considerable experience with the Google and Apple app review process and should be able to diagnose and solve any QA or user bugs found through use of our app.

You’ll report to the Director of Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities:

Here’s what you’ll be working on day-to-day, but as a nimble organization that puts our small business community at the forefront, flexibility is key, and other responsibilities may arise.

• Writing and maintaining performant and reusable code
• Able to conduct performance and bandwidth optimization
• Write automated tests for primary user flows
• Participating in sprint planning activities

• Quarterly code audits with improvement recommendations

• Developing their personal growth through online training and internal mentorship

Required Skills and Experiences:

• 3+ years of mobile team development experience
• 3+ years experience with either Kotlin, C++, Swift, or Objective C
• Extensive experience with working with REST APIs
• Experience with regression testing
• Experience with React Native
