Senior Mobile Engineer

WhaleCard is building the future of crypto-based consumer payments with the Amex Black of crypto. We're ushering in the web3 revolution with the first premium crypto-native credit card for whales that will make the experience frictionless, familiar, and full of perks!

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Mobile engineer interested in building a fun and performant app for Whalecard's users. WhaleCard on Mobile will need to deliver a wide-range of mobile features ranging from utility-features like bill-pay and balance checking all the way to fun games and social features.

Core Responsibilities

• Work with designers, founders, and other engineers to build high-engagement iOS + Android apps

• Help build testing and maintenance processes

• Help perform mobile-first user research

   

Tech + Qualifications

• Significant experience with iOS, Android, React Native

• Significant experience in developing performant mobile-first interfaces

• TypeScript: Strong background in React + Javascript, ideally Typescript

• GraphQL Experience Preferred

• Dev Stack: Linear, Github, Slack, Notion, Vercel, AWS, Postman

• Backend Stack: Node, AWS, K8s
