Skimmer's customers (pool techs) rely on our mobile app to run their businesses, so maintaining a robust, fully functional, and empowering app is critical to their success (and ours).

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain the Skimmer Mobile app (iOS and Android)
• Build new features and functionality based on UI/UX mockups and detailed work items provided by the Product Team
• Ensure the app stays up-to-date and compatible with new OS versions
• Implement best-practice patterns such as MVVM and functional programming
• Implement design patterns and solutions provided by the Architecture team
• Work closely with the Architecture team to modernize the back-end API
• Test features and bug fixes before handoff to QA
• Write code that meets production requirements and company standards
• Ensure that code is regression free, properly documented, and unit tested

Requirements

• 5+ years of Xamarin, Xamarin.Forms, and MAUI development experience
• Experienced working in Azure
• Strong C#/.NET development experience
• Experience with best-practice API design
• Experience with MVVM frameworks, particularly ReactiveUI
• Experience with unit testing frameworks, including NUnit/XUnit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to translate intricate business objectives and processes into technical solutions
• Strong problem solving and research skills
• A love of the Microsoft .NET stack and working with Distributed Systems
• Solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies
