Senior Mobile QA Engineer

Finstek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join our Finstek Trading Platform team. We are developing a cutting-edge, high-performance online trading platform that includes mobile applications (iOS, Android), a web/desktop terminal, and a web-based back office. This platform enables retail traders to access financial markets via trading terminals, supports both hedging and netting account types, offers various order types, and includes functionality for automated trading. The platform’s architecture is designed to support white-label solutions for brokers.

As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in embedding quality into our products and processes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and competitive products that meet the demands and expectations of the market.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual behavioural testing on mobile devices to ensure product functionality aligns with user expectations and platform standards
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test scenarios and cases for mobile features, including grey box and black box testing, covering various device specifications and operating systems
• Identify risks and usability issues specific to mobile platforms in product development and actively work to prevent and eliminate bugs
• Collaborate closely with mobile developers within scrum teams to deliver high-quality, shippable product increments for mobile applications in each sprint
• Participate in QA task estimations and contribute to knowledge sharing and mobile testing best practices across the QA team

​​​​​​​You Will Need to Have

• At least 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA)
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience testing mobile client-server applications on both iOS and Android platforms
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
• Basic knowledge of SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN queries)
• Experience with corporate wiki systems (e.g., Confluence) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Proficient in API testing
• Experience working with virtual machines
• Log analysis experience
• English B1+

Nice to Have

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in testing web applications
• Strong understanding and practical experience in testing products within the FinTech (trading) domain
• Experience working with Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with TestRail or similar test management platforms
