Job Summary
The National Systems Group serves as the technical advisor to the Intelligence Community and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, advanced technologies, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch.
We are looking for a Senior Model Based Digital Engineer (Senior Project Engineer) to provide support to the customer's Office of Digital Engineering (ODE) which is the center of excellence for model-based and digital engineering. In this opportunity and position, you will interact daily with the customer counterpart and provide digital engineering (DE) expertise to assist the organizational transformation to DE, Model Based Engineering (MBE) and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
This position requires 100% on site work in work in Chantilly, VA
What You'll Be Doing

• Acts as an Aerospace representative providing direct DE technical support to assist the government in planning, developing, and maintaining their technical baseline
• Provide MBSE and MBE prototype pathfinding in support of DE support using MBSE tools and modeling languages
• Identify tasks and provides project management of studies and analyses to be performed by the Aerospace Engineering Matrix support team in of the Government
• Develop briefings, white papers, technical reports, and present recommendations to customer and Aerospace management staff at all levels of the organization
• Provides support to advance the model federation to effectively and efficiently provision the right information to government decision makers and stakeholders

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field
• 12 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficient with MBSE tools and programming/script languages such as; Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, Collaborator, SysML, UAFML, Matlab, Python, and Java
• Willing to travel domestically approximately once a year
• This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

• PhD or Master's degree in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field
• Knowledge of modeling or engineering at various domain levels; enterprise, segment, element, and component; alternatively, architectures, vehicles, or payloads
• Certified SysML modeler from OMB-Certified SysML Professional (OCSMP)
• Experience in space systems
