We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join a specialized technical team working on critical banking applications. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing, refactoring, and implementing performance and security improvements across core systems. You will contribute to both backend and frontend development, building robust solutions with .NET (C# and VB), developing APIs, and creating dynamic interfaces with Angular. This position offers the opportunity to work on long-term projects in a collaborative, remote-first environment while making a tangible impact on mission-critical financial applications. You will thrive if you enjoy solving complex technical challenges and continuously improving software quality. Immediate availability for project kickoff is essential.
Accountabilities:
- Perform comprehensive analysis, design, and development of financial applications within the .NET ecosystem.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations, security enhancements, and code improvements.
- Develop and maintain backend solutions using .NET Framework 4.5, programming in both C# and Visual Basic.
- Build, optimize, and consume APIs to ensure seamless integration between systems.
- Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to meet high standards of quality, security, and functionality.
- Ensure project deliverables align with technical specifications, timelines, and client expectations.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer or .NET Analyst/Programmer.
- Strong expertise in .NET Framework 4.5, with advanced skills in C# and Visual Basic.
- Practical experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience with frontend development using Angular.
- Residency in Spain with the ability to work remotely, linked to the project location in Barcelona.
- Immediate availability to join a long-term project starting in April 2026.
- Preferred: experience in the banking or financial sector, and familiarity with agile tools like Jira.
