Senior Network Engineer

Citizens First Bank has an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer in our Information Technology Department! The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing and leading the design, implementation, monitoring, and management of the local, wireless and wide area networks of Citizens First Bank to ensure maximum uptime for users. This includes installation of network hardware, disaster recovery testing, documenting, and upgrading the banks network infrastructure.

Minimum: High school diploma and five years of experience managing routers, switches and firewalls in a corporate environment as well as one other certification (i.e., Network +, Security +, CCNA, CCNP) or other area of expertise. Must have excellent customer service, people management, teamwork and communication skills and excellent network, security, engineering, and architecture skills. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), IPSEC VPN's and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, EIGRP and OSPF). Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, FortiOS). Must be available to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Preferred: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP) highly desirable. Seven years of experience managing routers, switches, firewalls, voice and IPS systems in a corporate environment. Prior experience working within a highly regulated industry requiring internal and external audits.
