Job Description

Multi-threaded role critical to both operational and project level initiatives for corporate data and voice networks. This position is essential for implementing these critical services, leveraging world-class technologies, which enable BOK Financial to deliver premier financial products to customers nation-wide. This individual is responsible for executing projects, optimizing the network infrastructure, and providing expertise and skills to resolve any operational issues resulting from network outages or overall network performance. The Senior Network Engineer provides a deep level of technical expertise and works effortlessly with others as part of a diverse, cross-departmental team to implement, manage, and optimize a modern network infrastructure environment.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• Strategy: You'll closely work with network architects to advance a multi-year network playbook and associated roadmap to continuously improve our network performance, system resiliency and customer experience.
• Projects: You'll implement projects, systems, and issues of medium to high complexity surrounding network planning, configuration and optimization including keeping disaster recovery plans up-to-date, as required, and configuring the network to support recovery objectives to ensure business continuity
• Operations: You'll communicate with operational support teams as required, keep them informed of incident progress and notify them of impending changes or outages.
• Process Improvements: You'll schedule and coordinate corrective and routine maintenance on critical network, Disaster Recovery and voice systems with appropriate vendors, customers, and support organizations.
• Security and Risk: You'll perform network risk assessments, implement tech solutions, and assist with internal or external network security audits, Disaster Recovery testing, and maintenance.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology/Science and 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering, design; planning and implementation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
