Senior Network Engineer

BrainBerry Group is expanding its team and is looking for a new Senior Network Engineer with a passion for new technologies to join an exciting and growing project.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role requires expertise in networking technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity, latency, and bandwidth problems.

- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.

- Configure and manage network services, such as DHCP, DNS, NAT, and VLANs.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and applications.

- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and procedures.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network administrators and support staff.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in network administration, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level networks.

- Expertise in networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and SNMP.

- Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.

- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

- Expertise in scripting and automation using PowerShell.

- Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows)

- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive work culture.
