Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Senior Network Engineer opportunity available based in Doral, FL. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert to network routing and switching, as well as network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients.
  • Deploy and maintain network hardware, peripherals, services, and settings in accordance with industry standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Provides problem and incident resolution, including dealing with software and hardware vendor technical support.

Required QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 8 years + of relevant experience.
  •  Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience:
    • 8+ years of hands-on experience working on various Cisco networking equipment/appliance to include Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, etc.
  • Technical Certifications required:
    • Current CCNP Security
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco ISE
    • Cisco DNAC
    • VMWare / Hypervisor
    • Windows Operating Environment
    • Design Documentation
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on Experience implementing DISA mandate solution for Comply-to-Connect.
  • Hands-on Experience operating and or migrating to IPv6 environment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

Office setting:

  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
  • Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
  • May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
