Senior Network Engineer (Azure)

Team Function: 

The role manages and supports Azure network engineering in a global environment and provides senior-level expertise to the network engineering team. We're seeking an expert in Azure, on-premises networking, cloud infrastructure networking, and telecommunications in global environments, with knowledge and focus on zero-trust networking methodologies.

Job Location: Pune 

 Work Mode: Hybrid 

 Work timings: 1 pm to 10 pm IST (As will be working closely with the US (United States) Eastern time zone Engineering team) 

 What You will Do: 

• Daily operations of Azure Cloud Traffic
• Azure Web Application Security
• Physical network management and support covering Guidepoint offices, including - but not limited to - firewalls, routers, switches, etc.
• Monitor global traffic latency, issues, and application performance
• Update and design next-generational network models
• Network detection and response
• Intrusion detection and prevention technologies
• CASB models and methodologies

What You Have: 

• Must have a minimum of 2+ years working experience with advanced Azure cloud networking technologies.
• 8+ years of experience with core networking in an enterprise environment, ideally global
• Must know telecommunication technologies (VOIP, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, and FreePBX)
• Knowledgeable with Azure Application Gateways, Front Door, and other security tools
• Must have solid engineering knowledge of routing, switching, Azure networking, firewalls, and traffic management.
• Network security experience (vulnerability management and penetration testing skills)
• Update network security based on VNETs and Subnets, with traffic monitoring, etc.
• Optimize application traffic in high-latency environments like China, etc.
• Network security methodologies and designs
