Senior Network Engineer - Hybrid

The Ideal Candidate

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, monitoring, implementation, administration and maintenance of all LAN and WAN infrastructure for the Genesco Corporate and Stores Voice and Data Network.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Provide engineering support for a broad range of projects that will provide the design, installation, and configuration of the hardware and associated infrastructure with a high degree of accuracy.
• Leadership role within Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture providing mentorship to network engineers and administrators.
• Lead contact for escalated voice and data network issues.
• Ensure PCI/DSS and SOX network security design and compliance.
• Detailed analysis and reporting.
• Responsible for equipment procurement and vendor relations.
• Led initiatives in cross-functional team efforts that serve various business requirements.
• Provide a solution focused approach to process improvement and cost savings while providing outstanding customer service.
• Provide senior technical support to all network services functions and engineers at a tier 3 level.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have

• Ten or more years of Network Engineering experience preferred.
• Ten or more years of experience with Cisco routers/firewalls and Cisco switches.
• Eight years or more of experience leading network engineering teams in administration, deployment and design.
• Eight or more years of experience in network security administration or design.
• Extensive experience with suite of Cisco products such as UCS, ACI, Nexus, and Firepower.
• Ten years experience with Cisco Enterprise Wireless and Meraki Wireless.
• Experience with routing protocols BGP/EIGRP for circuit troubleshooting and design.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager supporting an environment of at least 1000 phones or more.
• Eight or more years of SIP circuit troubleshooting and design experience.
• Five or more years of experience with security technologies and products such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, VPN technologies, forensic monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Project management experience required.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills (written and verbal).
