Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee TikTok's IT networks, encompassing campus and backbone infrastructure, and providing network support to TikTok employees.
2. Address network escalations, conduct troubleshooting, and execute routine maintenance tasks like regular inspections, handling alerts, responding to business inquiries, and managing routine network changes.
3. Streamline workflows and processes to enhance efficiency via optimization and automation, standardizing troubleshooting procedures, and refining network escalation and services processes. Engage closely with vendor/manufacturer to coordinate maintenance processes, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to standards.
4. Collaborate with the network architecture team in iterating on architecture and standards, researching related requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring effective implementation.
5. Direct the automation of network operations and development of infrastructure automation scripts, contributing to the continuous improvement of cloud solution strategies, ensuring scalable and secure cloud infrastructures.
6. Carry out thorough cyber risk assessments to support technological initiatives within the campus and cloud network environments, identifying potential network security risks and establishing effective control measures.
7. Maintain a steadfast approach to risk mitigation, tracking, and management, and integrate comprehensive monitoring capabilities within network solutions to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities and threats.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in network communications, computer science, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in network operations and security.
3. Proficiency in configuring, debugging, and troubleshooting networks and security equipment (Cisco, Arista, Huawei, Palo Alto, Aruba).
4. Advanced networking certifications (CCIE, HCIE, JNCIE) or equivalent certificates.
5. Security certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CCNP Security are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with network automation concepts and tools (Python, Ansible, Git) is a plus.
2. Experience with SDWAN solutions and enterprise SDWAN planning and deployment preferred.
3. Knowledge of switching & routing protocols (IEEE802.3/STP/OSPF/BGP/VXLAN) and wireless network principles.
4. Understanding of TCP/IP model, IPV4/IPV6, TCP/UDP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and common VPNs like IPsec/GRE/SSL VPN.
5. Experience in planning, constructing, and optimizing campus wireless networks at scale.
