This role is a strategic opportunity to build and maintain a nationwide network of healthcare providers, focusing on physicians across a wide range of specialties. You will play a pivotal role in sourcing, engaging, and onboarding clinical reviewers to support quality of care and utilization management initiatives. The position requires creativity, persistence, and strong relationship-building skills to attract top talent in both general and highly specialized fields. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for providers while supporting organizational goals. This role combines operational excellence with a high-impact, collaborative environment, offering opportunities to influence national healthcare quality and outcomes. The position is remote-friendly and involves ongoing communication with both providers and internal teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract physicians across multiple specialties, including primary care and subspecialties
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and other channels to engage prospective providers and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
  • Serve as the primary contact for providers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
  • Negotiate provider agreements, including market-specific rates, while aligning organizational needs with provider capabilities
  • Monitor credentialing milestones, compliance requirements, and network capacity to maintain adequate specialty coverage
  • Track operational metrics, provide leadership updates, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support departmental projects and collaborate with internal teams to enhance recruitment, onboarding, and provider engagement
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 5+ years of experience in provider recruitment, talent acquisition, network development, or healthcare-focused recruiting
    • Proven ability to source and engage physicians across general and highly specialized medical fields
    • Experience with credentialing workflows, contract coordination, and provider relations
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
    • Preferred: creative problem-solving skills, ability to leverage non-traditional sourcing methods, and strong teamwork and customer service orientation
