The Opportunity
The Network Security Engineer will be installing, supporting and maintaining the Palo Alto suite of products (Hardware/Software/Apps) within the Baring global estate with include Datacenter, Microsoft Azure, remote office and the Prisma Access (SASE) Cloud.
The Network Security Engineer to have experience in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of Palo Alto security infrastructure, including security applications such as Wildfire, Minemeld and Global Protect.

The Opportunity

The Network Security Engineer to have experience in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of Palo Alto security infrastructure, including security applications such as Wildfire, Minemeld and Global Protect.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the network security hardware, applications and services and upgrade when necessary.
- Provide support for other engineers on PA equipment/software
- Cross train in-house to share knowledge and share work load
- Provide pre implementation support on projects, which includes documentation designed and installation rollout plans.
- Provide support to project managers on security/Firewall deployments.
- Suggest and detail design changes as and when needed.
- Provide documentation for installations and ongoing support.
- Pro-actively review and maintain Firewall Application / Services.
- Respond to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages.
- Work remotely or onsite as per business requirements.
Preferred background and profile
- You have experience and knowledge installing and supporting Palo Alto Security applications (hardware/virtual)
- You have Palo Alto certified Network Security Engineer - (PCNSE) certification.
- You have expert knowledge of Panorama, Wildfire, Global Protect and other Palo Alto features including and not limited to SSL decryption, URL filtering.
- You have experience with Wireshark and/or other protocol analyzers.
- You have practical experience of SASE, Prisma Access or SD-WAN architectures and providers.
- You have strong networking skills routing, BGP, OSPF, WAN etc
- You have strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Remote user access technologies including Global Protect.
- Authentication methodologies, including 2FA, RADIUS, LDAP, AD
- You have Certificate Management
- You have Next Generation Firewall capabilities, configuration, and deployment
- You have PAN-OS knowledge Ver 9.x & 10
- You have worked within global technical teams on an enterprise level providing 24/7 365 services.
