Senior Network Security Engineer remote

Full-time, remote, Georgia USA

As part of the Information Technology Team, you will represent the Enterprise ICT Organization, in network and security infrastructure services. You will function in a capacity to implement and maintain network security infrastructures and compliance initiatives. This position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, best practices, and procedures relative to maintaining and implementing network and security infrastructures.

As an IT Senior Network Security Engineer, you will

• Manage complicated cross-platform cases
• Work with vendors, integrators, and 3rd parties
• Work independently as well as work collaboratively within a team environment and with a virtual team
• Provide network assistance in person, remotely via phone
• Monitor and take appropriate action from network alerts generated by tools
• Conduct network forensics and network log analysis
• Continuously improve IT environment by standards

About you

• 10+ years of experience with Network and Information Security Technology
• Strong experience in the architecture/design, development, and implementation of large-scale Wide Area Network (WAN) architectures with a strong focus on network security
• In-depth knowledge of Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Cisco ISE, ASA, Firepower, Routing and Switching
• Experience with Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) and Network Access Control
• In-depth knowledge in LAN, WAN and supporting networking technologies
• Expertise in different VPN technologies including site-to-site and remote access VPNs
• Hands on experience with Audit for Firewalls configurations and ACLs
• Experience using firewall security orchestration and automation tools
• Excellent Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Occasionally work outside business hours
• Good communication and presentation skills in English

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Network Security Engineer Remote is between $80k and $116k. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
