Senior Network Security Engineer

Project Description

Senior Network Security engineer, responsible for data analysis, policy design, implementation plans and automation design. We are looking for someone with 3-5+ years'

experience, able to function as an independent, network security engineer in the team.

Responsibilities

Implement DB's Network Security Monitoring data analytics platform to increase transparency of
data anomalies in network traffic.
- Operationalize NSM tools, complete bank application go live and approval process.
- Coordinate and plan sensor placement with Networks engineering teams.
- Configure NSM sensors, on premise and on GCP. Manage event log & ETL pipeline.
- Implement and support open source ELK, ETL tool pipelines, and Splunk log integration.
- Configure and support on premise RHEL server ELK cluster

Skills

Must have

- Network Security Monitoring - Zeek / Suricata and other similar Network Detect & Response platforms
- Network Security Tooling Implementation & Operational Support (L3)
- UNIX/RHEL Administration
- ELK (Elasticseach / Logstash / Kibana)
- Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- DevOps: Python, Docker, Ansible, Git
- Strong understanding of general networking and design principles
- ITIL process awareness and knowledge of CMDB, change & incident management

Nice to have

Additional: Splunk, Deception/Honeypot
