Responsibilities

• Serverless API Development: Design and implement serverless RESTful APIs from scratch using Node.js within AWS Lambda, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Code Quality Leadership: Establish and enforce code quality standards and best practices for Node.js projects, including style guides, code reviews, and refactorings to maintain high maintainability and readability
• Comprehensive Testing: Develop and maintain a robust testing suite, including unit tests, integration tests, and perform manual testing to ensure high-quality delivery throughout the Story lifecycle
• Infrastructure as Code: Define and manage AWS stack resources using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), ensuring infrastructure is version controlled and reproducible
• Service Maintenance: Continuously monitor and maintain existing services, promptly addressing security vulnerabilities, performing updates, and optimizing for performance and cost
• Ownership and Initiative: Driving development for Node.js services, proactively identifying and resolving complex issues with minimal supervision. Ensure project deliverables are met on time, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and a self-driven approach

Requirements

• Must possess exceptional coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and have extensive experience working either with React JS or Angular frameworks
• Should demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and be able to work independently
• Experience in or a strong interest in full-stack development, particularly in developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda and implementing infrastructure as code with AWS CDK in TypeScript, would be highly beneficial
