Senior Okta Architect (Remote)

Webmethod is searching for a Senior Okta Architect that will beresponsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge identity and access management solutions utilizing Okta technology. Your expertise and implementation experience will be crucial in helping clients enhance their security posture and streamline their authentication processes

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design Okta-based identity and access management solutions tailored to their needs
• Develop comprehensive architectural plans and technical designs for Okta implementations, including user provisioning, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and access policies
• Lead the implementation and configuration of Okta products, ensuring seamless integration with clients' existing systems and applications
• Provide guidance and expertise to clients and internal teams on best practices for Okta architecture, security, and identity management
• Conduct assessments of clients' current IAM infrastructure, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to address them using Okta solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Okta technology and proactively incorporate them into solution designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of Okta projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field prefered
• 5+ years Proven experience as an Okta Architect, designing and implementing Okta-based IAM solutions
• Strong knowledge of Okta products and services, including Okta Identity Cloud, Okta Access Gateway, and Okta API Access Management
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and best practices
• Proficiency in integrating Okta solutions with various applications and systems, such as Active Directory, HR systems, and cloud platforms
• Experience with implementing SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication using Okta
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Proven client relationship skills
