Job Description
Mintel is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join the dynamic Chicago team. The Operations Analyst will oversee the day to day activities for 2 large vendor relationships. Responsibilities include ensuring that all deadlines and SLAs are being met and that any challenges are being eliminated.
This role is based in Chicago and requires the individual to work a hybrid schedule of 2 days in-office and 3 days remote weekly.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Managing the relationship with the operations vendors:
- Becoming the point of contact for day to day issues and questions
- Ensuring that all SLAs are being met
- Driving continuous improvement efforts
- Communicating with all stakeholders regularly and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintaining ownership for the operations process, gaining an understanding of the work flow including the systems and processes that support it
- Working with the Product Development team and the QA manager to roll out new information to the vendors and the Mintel quality control team.
- Assisting with system testing
- Managing the vendor through all changes and product updates
- Partnering with the IT and Product Development teams to ensure that issues facing the vendor are prioritized
- Documenting all process changes
- Managing one direct report in execution of day to day operational tasks
