Job Description:
Seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mission Director/Facility Security Officer to join our Sea-Based X-Band (SBX) Radar Mission Integration Team. The selected candidate will provide Mission support aboard the SBX while at sea on a rotational basis. This person will also have an additional duty to serve as the Facility Security Officer on the SBX. Rotations can range from 75-90 days, followed by up to 60 days off.

The projected compensation range for this position is $97,900-$107,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of SBX operations both at sea and in port.
- Works closely with other payloads to continue to develop and refine the Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP) used on SBX.
- Reports operational status of SBX to designated Operational Control/Tactical Control (OPCON/TACON) Commander and relays orders to the SBX team for execution.
- Manages the BMDS Asset Management (AM) process for SBX in accordance with applicable USSTRATCOM instructions.
- Schedules and submits Event Objective Worksheets (EOWs) to the BMDS Operational Schedule (BOS) to ensure all activities are de-conflicted and coordinated in the Weekly Activities Message (WAM).
- Validates that all personnel coming aboard SBX meet the appropriate individual access requirements or are escorted at the appropriate levels.
- Coordinates SBX access activities with the Physical Security Officer and Vessel Master, to ensure access is properly controlled.
- Maintains the MI Vessel Security Focal Standard Operating documents that outline procedures for working closely with vessel security force, Vessel Master, and Senior Mission Integrator to ensure personnel coming aboard SBX meet the appropriate individual requirements or are escorted at the appropriate levels and access is properly controlled.
- 10 years of experience working in an Operational Environment supporting military missions.
- Prior experience developing Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
- Experience working in an OPCON/TACON environment to support SBX operations.
- Experience deconflicting schedules in a complex operating environment and many different organizations.
- 10 years of experience working as a Facility Security Officer or Ship Security Officer
- Excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired.
- Experience performing in a deployed remote work environment for extended periods of time.
- Experience working in a maritime environment.
- Must have and maintain an active secret clearance
- Must be able to pass and maintain the physical requirements of a modified maritime physical.
- Must be able to balance, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
- Must be able to climb up to 10 flights of stairs regularly
- Cannot be afraid of confined spaces.
- Cannot be afraid of heights
