Senior Operations Associate

About the Job

As Senior Operations Associate, you will work cross-functionally to enable Anthro's growth and business success. You will tackle and solve any mission-critical problems while implementing scalable organizational structures, driving process improvements, and providing data-driven insights for decision making. You'll ensure that Anthro's technical and business teams work in-step to deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.

What you will do

• Support and program manage cross-cutting, wide-reaching operations improvement projects to increase business efficiency and reduce risk
• Be responsible for owning and tracking key operational metrics across business and technical teams
• Ensure seamless communication between Anthro's business team, technical team, and customers
• Solve complex, ambiguous business problems
• Work with company leadership to develop company strategy, organizational structure, communication protocols, and reporting
• Hold yourself and others accountable for meeting tight deadlines
• Analyze and make data-driven recommendations for Anthro's long-term strategy
• 'Whatever it takes' to push the company forward
• Work in-person, on-site at Anthro's lab in San Jose, and travel to customer sites as-needed

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in engineering, consulting, or in operations at a startup
• B.S. or M.S. in industrial engineering, business, engineering, or other related field
• Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to hold team members accountable for deadlines and deliverables
• Familiarity with project management and/or dashboarding tools such as Jira, Trello, Airtable, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Ability to create order out of chaos
• Self-starter, proactively identify and solve problems
• Ability to craft clear project management plans, PowerPoint slides, and spreadsheets
• Willing and eager to learn about technical details
• Ambitious, looking to increase your responsibility in a fast growing company
