Job Description

Purpose: Perform daily tasks including, but not limited to selecting, packing, scanning, labeling, loading, value-added

services (vas) and/or other functions as assigned to achieve projected volume and quality goals. Accurately process

orders in and out of the distribution center. Work in advanced problem-solving functions to resolve any exception

situations. Train and guide new hires and junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:• Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all

barcoded products• Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team• Ability to work in advanced problem-solving functions and work in/coordinate special projects as needed• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork• Flexibility to train others and work in multiple areas. Guide new hires and junior team members as requested• Understand and apply health and safety guidelines/procedures• Work safely and maintain a clean work environment• Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns• Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Basic computer skills such as internet, Windows, ability to use a mouse and/or touchscreen• Ability to read, write, count and distinguish colors • Ability to communicate both verbally and written in English• Strong communication skills to train others and explain SOPs as needed• Demonstrated problem-solving skills• Ability to use equipment, including but not limited to: box knife, RF scanner, manual and power pallet jacks • Basic math skills• Ability to work full-time hours and overtime as needed

GENERAL

Essential Functions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:• work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures• regularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip,

grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day• occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel and/or crouch• occasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds• work safely on elevated surfaces (2nd level mezzanine)• able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: • Must be a current Point Guard for at least (3) months at time of application• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required• Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language• No Written Coachings/Warnings• Ability to work full-time hours, as well as, overtime and weekends as required
