Job Description:
This role is responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the research and execution of complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s). Key responsibilities of the role include leading the design, development and implementation of products, systems, processes and services using discretion within the project management methodologies, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:• Leads the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment using subject matter expertise.• Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives• Advises as technical expert in assigned area by providing work direction, guidance and expertise to less experienced associates and training to associates and Business Partners on new complex initiatives• Builds strong relationships with business partners across various lines of business• Manages and defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/projects
Required Skills:• Deep working knowledge of commercial lending, experience with complex credit agreements and structures, including syndications
• Ability to multi-task deliverables and adapt to changing environments
• Experience identifying risk along with the aptitude to implement needed controls into processes and procedures • Applies critical thinking to analyze, identify and deal with legal, business, reputation, and operational risk• Highly organized self-starter, attentive to detail with strong time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities• Strong ability to influence, negotiate and lead diverse groups to achieve desired results, especially in dealing with escalations• High level of proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications and loan accounting platforms and systems (LoanIQ, CreditCenter, Global Fulfillment Solutions etc.)• Works well in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision• Problem Solving

The Syndicated and Corporate Lending Senior Operations Consultant provides consulting expertise and change execution for process, procedural and technology enhancements. Utilizing strong project and change management skills to meet aggressive deadlines. Work independently or in conjunction with other specialists as the work requires. Participate fully in team planning and work with colleagues to continuously improve the team's performance. Provides work direction, guidance and expertise to less experienced associates and provides training to teammates on new and complex initiatives. Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Individual typically has 5-7 years of experience.
