Software Operations Engineer (Digital Bank) – Denver, CO (Hybrid)

We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers’ experiences with a cutting-edge digital ecosystem. As a Senior Software Operations Engineer for Digital Banking Infrastructure and Technology Operations, your primary responsibility will be to help establish core digital banking and wallet solutions globally, while also overseeing the integration of infrastructure, networks, and real-time payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new software, while maintaining and improving existing software.
  • Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization.
  • Recommend improvements to existing applications and system configuration.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operational, functional, and technical teams.
  • Work with a software development team and service providers in a geographically distributed structure.
  • Works independently on complex projects.
  • Support local regulatory reporting and product customizations in support of digital bank and wallet IT operations.
  • Partner across the across the organization to optimize and enhance the customer journey.
  • Be a core part of the team by continually improving the bank – through building resiliency, helping develop feature enhancements, and improving our customer service.

Role Requirements

  • B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies.
  • 1-3+ years of software development experience in one or more of the following:
    • Experience with MuleSoft, or similar API orchestration technology.
    • Experience with OutSystems or similar low-code environment.
    • Mambu or similar core banking technology (FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, .NET, Angular, or similar programming languages and frameworks.
  • Experience with code release management processes, including approvals through change boards to production code releases.
  • Troubleshooting of all technology including UI, integration tools, core banking platforms, and all back-office systems.
  • Prior experience working within an ITSM organization, leveraging a tool such as Jira or ServiceNow for incident and change management highly preferred.

Salary

The base salary range is $90,000 - $125,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
