Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to join their organization. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will have accountability for driving operational efficiency while improving the overall customer experience. You will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives, leading and developing your team of direct reports, and bringing a fresh perspective to enhance productivity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead daily operations to ensure execution of tasks and departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure smooth coordination between production, inventory management, and distribution, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Analyze existing production processes and identify areas to optimize. Implement lean methodologies and other creative initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term operational goals and align production to purchasing strategies.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to industry regulations, compliance standards, and ethical practices.
  • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, track key performance indicators, and generate regular performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain management and high-quality service delivery.
  • Consistent process review to find ways to improve productivity and quality.

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an Operations role and effectively leading a team.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills when interacting with all levels of the organization, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong background of business operations, performance metrics, and financial management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A “go-getter” who stays on task.
  • Highly proficient in data analysis, reporting, and using insights to drive decision-making.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, presenting complex information digestible to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable using project management tools and operational software.
  • Experience with Lean method, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
